    majority of our CF care occurs on an outpatient basis, there are instances when
    hospitalization is necessary. By joining forces with the top healthcare facilities both
    in the Chicago region as well as nationally, The Cystic Fibrosis Center of Chicago
    incorporates all the newest and most effective treatments.

    Dr. Boas is also on the medical staff at 5 other large area hospitals - Lake Forest
    Hospital, Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Edward Hospital
    in Naperville, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University
    Feinberg School of Medicine, both in Chicago.

    The Cystic Fibrosis Center of Chicago is a "secondary" medical facility with Dr. Boas
    generally serving as a consultant and treating physician upon the referral from a
    primary care physician, pediatric internist or family medicine physician. For our
    patients who require highly specialized medical care such as lung transplants,
    Dr. Boas has longstanding relationships with tertiary or quaternary hospitals, the
    most noteworthy being Loyola University Health System, Barnes-Jewish Hospital in
    St. Louis, and The University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.

    While The Cystic Fibrosis Center of Chicago’s main office is located in Glenview, we
    also have satellite facilities in Hoffman Estates, Naperville, South Barrington
    and Lake Forest.
